Our vision… is to create together a sacred circle within which each woman can discover more about the wild beauty of her soul,
Samhain Lantern…

Wild, deep, creative women can transform the world!
Our way… is to enable deep soul work through courses based on the eightfold celtic cycle of the year, which blend spiritual arts such as meditation and simple ceremony, with the creative arts, especially myth and storytelling, and practical natural crafts and sacred time in nature and wilderness. Gatherings are held in comfortable homes in the beautiful and wild countryside around Totnes and Dartmoor, in South Devon.
Wood Sisters courses consist of a series of eight one day gatherings based on the sacred seasonal cycle, in which each participant is free to choose their level of involvement; from dipping a toe into the wisdom pool with a single day, to a deep immersion in our 'slow cook course' over two years and beyond!
Wrapped around these seasonal celebrations is a more frequent morning meeting called the Celtic Circle. Local women gather in this circle once or twice in each lunar month for study, meditation and sharing. Visitors are always welcome.
Many Sisters feel inspired to also find their own daily rhythms of sacred living and there is experienced individual mentoring and support available for any woman who seeks this kind of commitment to the Mystery.
Acknowledging Ancestors… We made a silent, contemplative walk through the rain to visit this Grandmother Yew in the old graveyard at Dartington Hall at SamhainOur values… include a non dogmatic, interfaith and open approach to spirituality, non hierarchical structures that emphasise facilitation and collaboration and a commitment to holistic learning which balances 'head, heart and hands'…
